How does it work?
First of all, get in touch and let me know what it is you're looking for. We'll then open up a conversation about the project where you can let me know the length, topic, any specific time constraints etc. and give me your bullet point/note/scribbled/voice note version of what you want to say. I also love to have a proper chat with each client and find out a bit more about you and your business. This helps me to understand how to write as you and what sort of written voice you might have. Once I've got everything I need, I'll get to work and contact you once the project is complete to request payment in full before sending you your document. At this point, you can make one round of edits and revisions for free before incurring an additional charge (see more information below).
How much does it cost?
My rate is £40 per hour, with a minimum spend of £10. Obviously, if a job takes 30 minutes then the cost will be £20, 90 minutes is £60 and so on. Built into my price is one free editing session per project which you can read more about below.
How much work do I need to put in?
The short answer is 'very little'. The absolute minimum that I need from you is some bullet points of what you want to say because, unfortunately, I'm not an expert in every field. If writing isn't your thing at all (that's probably why you're here!) then I can also work from voice notes or I'm happy to arrange a phone call or video chat to discuss exactly what you're looking for.
What about editing?
Built into the cost is one free editing session per project. This means that after you have paid in full and I have sent you the completed project, you get the opportunity to make a list of edits. Think of it like a 'snag list' for a brand new house. This list can be as long or as short as you like and I will make the requested edits free of charge. Any further editing that is required will incur my standard hourly rate.
What is your turnaround time?
Best-case scenario, I will endeavour to get your project back to you in one week. However, please understand that this is not my main line of work and so it has to be slotted in around my day to day job. Some weeks are busier than others meaning that sometimes it can take longer depending on the project length. It is absolutely imperative that you make me aware of any specific time constraints before I begin so that I can be transparent with you about whether it is possible. If it is not, I would much rather let you know so that you can explore alternative options.
